The coronavirus strain known as COVID-19 is popping up everywhere and the information coming out is both alarming and confusing. It’s not surprising that people are freaking out a bit, though it is perhaps surprising that go much of that freakout has focused on what comes out of their butts. Everywhere, folks are snapping up toilet paper like their lives depend on it, even though it really, really doesn’t. Food, meds, and entertaining card gamed— these should all be bigger priorities.
Instead, folks are getting into fistfights and stampeding for toilet paper. While they clearly think it’s a very serious matter, most of the Internet does not. The coronavirus toilet paper memes have become almost as popular as toilet paper and coronavirus memes, separately—and they’re plentiful.
