Fed-Up Employees Are Making “No One Wants To Work” Signs And Memes (19 Pics)

It’s no surprise that the pandemic has affected businesses across the United States. Many closed—both temporarily and permanently—and others had to lay off workers. But now that more people are getting vaccinated and heading back into the world, they are being greeted with what appears to be a staffing shortage.

Many signs are popping up outside of stores and eating establishments asking customers to please be patient, as they are short-staffed. Some of these signs are rather forthright, explaining that “no one wants to work anymore.”

Workers, who feel exploited, underpaid, and underappreciated, basically just want a livable wage and basic benefits. It just might be time for a labor revolution.

Along with the signs, there are also memes. Yes, they’re funny, but they also point at a serious issue for both workers and businesses.
