If you get a job as a server, you might be trained on what to do if you get a fake restaurant tip.
Sometimes, people will pay and leave an astronomical tip (think thousands), the server cries thinking they can fill their gas tank up all the way, and then boom, the customer cancels the credit card they payed with. The tip is gone.
