TikTok was nearly banned in 2020. Yeah. Banned for being too good! Just kidding. It was an international incident. But, thankfully, the app was spared in America. TikTok reigns supreme as the social media app where the weirdest and wildest stuff is happening. Also, dancing. So much dancing.
What’s it take to make a viral TikTok video? A catchy song. A clever pun. Oh, and hot people lipsyncing audio that funny, weird-looking people wrote. Basically, that’s all of television too. Hot people read the funny words that people who look like me wrote in a comedy writing dungeon. Why should the internet be any different?
This year gave us some excellent videos. We will forever be grateful to the people who took the time to dance with their pet ducks, share recipes, and drink cranberry juice on a longboard. You got us through the hardest year. Bye, 2020.

Mostly, people took the opportunity to show off that they are hot and so is their best friend. It was fun for everyone.
