A Christmas gift we didn’t see coming was this Twitter thread, which calls out Hilaria Baldwin for pretending to be Spanish.
Posted by @lenibriscoe the thread goes into how Hilaria Baldwin, a wellness influencer who is also married to actor Alec Baldwin, has a different background than the one she claims.
You have to admire Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person

The thread pulled out some interesting footage, including a clip where Baldwin forgets how to say “cucumber.”
Here she is pretending not to know how to say cucumber in English 😭 pic.twitter.com/g8xYNktsNY

What in the Rachel Dolezal is this gossip bomb???
The thread picked up steam over the Christmas holiday, the perfect time to retreat from family and get lost in a Hilaria Baldwin internet conspiracy that is most likely true.
The thread continues with evidence ranging from Baldwin’s disappearing accent to facts about her past that don’t always line up.
From a review of her podcast. This woman also claimed to have moved to the United States because she wanted to go to NYU 😭. pic.twitter.com/zuEWMNkTBT

And no she is not Spanish on her father’s side either here is the obituary of her grandfather – her paternal family has been in the United States since it was a British colony https://t.co/MAWQPKLlNE

But her native language is most certainly English because here is her mother’s bio which notes that she graduated from BU medical school in 1986 and then had a 20 year career in MA
Hilaria/Hilary was born in 1984 – mom would have been in medical school IN BOSTON pic.twitter.com/J7fIkBdTUf

Yeah, lots of things not lining up here.
The thread got so much attention that Hilaria Baldwin began trending on Twitter.

Hilaria Baldwin pretending to be Latina for her entire life is very much something Jenna Maroney would’ve done to get cast in the “West Side Story” remake.

Soon, the topic was so big Baldwin couldn’t ignore it. So she uploaded a seven-and-a-half-long video to Instagram addressing the rumors.
In the video, Baldwin clarifies her upbringing, saying she spent time in both Boston and Spain. She says her accent fluctuates based on where she is living. She also blamed reporters for writing that she is from Spain.
Baldwin then posted a Story on her Instagram, where she says she’s logging off for “a long time.”
“I’m so tired. I’m going to go back to my family because I’ve been not a very good mommy, spending a lot of time focusing on this and I just want to be left alone. So I love you, and I’m going to sign off for a long time.”
