We still have a few weeks of summer left, and I don’t know about you, but I plan to make the most of it. Whether it’s chilling poolside, hitting the beach, or throwing a backyard BBQ, I’m all about living it up in the sun.
That’s why the next party I have, I’m so tempted to get this giant inflatable Twister board to kick things up a notch.
Sold by retailer Hammacher Schlemmer, this isn’t technically a Twister board, at least not legally. Instead, they describe the product as an “inflatable outdoor color dot game,” which, OK, sure! Still a giant Twister board game to us, though.
The board has 64 colored dots as well as a massive wheel you spin to see where your hands and feet go, so it’s totally the same game, just without the name. We’re cool with that!
It should be mentioned that this game is massive—it measures 15 feet by 15 feet, and the spinning wheel itself is three feet tall. It even comes with the air pump you need to keep the board inflated and it can hold up to 1500 pounds, so basically everyone can join in on the fun.
The one major downside to the game is the price tag. At $2,000, you have to wonder who besides the Kardashians could afford to have this at their next party. I suppose if you were crowdsourcing cash and you had 40 people chip in $50 apiece, you might be able to make it work, but then how do you split custody between 40 different people? It’s all so complicated! Maybe just put it on your credit card and call it a day.
On the upside, the inflatable Twister board does come with a lifetime guarantee, meaning if the double-stitched vinyl does happen to spring a leak or just won’t stay inflated, you can always get it repaired or replaced by the retailer. At $2,000, I would think that’s the least they could offer.
