It’s often delightful to see what celebrities will do or say on social media when there’s no publicist there to hold them back.
That’s how we get Twitter fights, weird Insta stories, and all sorts of fun things that serve as a reminder that celebrities are just like us, but with gobs of money. Unfortunately for them, this unfiltered view can go both ways. Celebrities now get unvarnished opinions from the masses on everything they say and do and their looks and voice and EVERYTHING. It’s unsurprising that some of them are heavy on the block button.
Comedian Bert Kreischer is famous enough to have over 500k followers on Twitter, but he’s definitely not as famous as KISS band leader Gene Simmons.
Kreischer tweeted a screenshot of Gene Simmons blocking him on Twitter and asked his followers, “This is a fun game – who is the most famous person to block you?”

The replies show that people are pretty proud to have been blocked by celebrities. Some share the stories of why, others don’t, some of those stories are ridiculous, some are not (we would all block). But very few people seem sad. If anything, they’re delighted that their special celebrity thought about them long enough to hate them. Here are some of the people who you shouldn’t mess with online:
