Ever find yourself shaking your fist at the sky and thinking, “There should be a law against this!”—when in reality, if there were, it’d be total tyranny? Still, one can dream, right? If you daydream about petty laws to prevent the frustrating, capitalist, and just-plain-dumb non-rules of the world, then this #ThereShouldBeALaw Twitter thread prompted by Jimmy Fallon is for you:
It’s Hashtags time! Tag a tweet with #ThereShouldBeALaw and then say a funny or weird rule that you think should be made into law. Could be on the show!

Personally, I think ALL cars should have to, by law, give right of way to any pedestrian walking in the rain. I don’t want my hair to get wet, guys! But I can see how that might become dangerous, difficult to enforce, and probably more inconvenient for everyone involved.
STILL! In my ideal world, no one would be left waiting on a corner shivering in the rain while Mr. Nice-N-Warm-In-His-Car gets to drive around easy-peasy. #NYCProblems.
Here are the things everyone else thinks should become law:
1.
