Shortly after it was announced that Super Mario Bros was getting a new animated film, the voice cast was announced. It didn’t take too long after that for people on Twitter to make some hilarious memes about the weird casting choices.
Chris Pratt will voice Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy will voice Princess Peach, and Charlie Day will voice Luigi. Seth Rogen is cast as Donkey Kong, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Jack Black as Bowser.
I think we’re all a little sad it isn’t going to be live-action.
