Saying cancer sucks is an understatement. There is no way to properly put to words the wave of emotions that happen during a cancer journey, whether it’s happening to you or a loved one.
But even in those tough moments, it’s important to see the beauty that forces itself through the cracks. For Molly Gorczyca, that beauty came in the form of a chance meeting at a hospital.
Gorczyca was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in 2019 and was at an appointment at the hospital when she met someone with the same kind of cancer as her.
Recently, she tweeted the meeting as part of the “how it started, how it’s going” meme that has been making the round this past week.

In the tweet, she showed two screenshots: the one where she texted a friend about the cute guy at the hospital, and the one where we get to see her successfully shoot her shot.
Next to those images are adorable photos of Gorczyca and her love, Ryan.
