When you only use it for social media and reading the news, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the internet is a vast and strange place.
There are dark corners of places like Tumblr and Reddit where full-on weirdos get their kicks by freaking people TF out.
Occasionally, this indescribable weirdness bubbles up to normie internet spaces and it makes us think the internet, for all its usefulness, was a horrible, horrible mistake.
These posts from Reddit’s r/thanksihateit are some of the weirdest, funniest things out there and if you’re not utterly disturbed by them then you’re a weirdo too (sorry, but those are the rules).
