Anyone who has ever taken a nude has probably considered what they would do if those nudes got leaked. You’d probably be pretty angry with the person who did it. Ohio mom Emily Schmitt has the unique experience of having to be mad at one of her own kids for exposing her derriere to the Internet, and in this case, they weren’t even nudes that Schmitt took. Her toddler was the photographer, too.
Schmitt posted an apology on Facebook to the dozen or so people who received a Snapchat pic of her bare butt taken and sent by her daughter Carsyn, the IBTimes reports.
She shared a Snapchat screenshot in which she explained the Snapchat saga.
“When you find out your 2-year-old had your phone this morning and took a naked pic of you while you were getting ready,” it reads. “Then sent it via Snapchat to multiple people including… a fellow agent. A past client. A guy from college. An old coworker. I am SO SORRY if you got the pic.”
Schmitt’s head is bowed in defeat. She told reporters that she didn’t realize what happened until she got a Snapchat message from a co-worker saying “thanks for the nude.”
“I was mortified,” she said. “I literally think I died for a minute then came back to life so I could tell people what happened.”
As for Carsyn, Schmitt said, “It’s so funny – this child of mine is wild. We just say she’s feral – she cannot be tamed.”
People have found Schmitt’s shame pretty funny and her post has been shared over 14 thousand times. Sounds like Carsyn is a little influencer in the making! And on the bright side, images on Snapchat do disappear after being viewed, unless someone takes a screenshot, and nobody did, according to Schmitt. Now that’s friendship.
