Chrissy Teigen is gorgeous and has been gorgeous for a long time, but a lot of people have speculated if parts of her body might be attributed to the work of a good plastic surgeon rather than genetics. And now in an interview with Glamour UK, for which Teigen is the Spring/Summer 2020 cover, she admits her boobs are not entirely her own. Well, they’re hers, of course, but she had some help in their construction.

“Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” Teigen told reporter Josh Smith. “It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”
Teigen says that her fakes are about the same size as the ones she had, but in a different shape, supposedly one better suited to photos.
“Honestly, I kept them the same cup size. I just filled them out, so they are rounder and firmer,” she explained. “I had a quarter ‘teardrop’ cup in the bottom and filled out the breast line. But I want them out now. If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years. But when you have kids you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, “This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.'”
It’s not clear why Teigen decided to suddenly drop this truth bomb, but the model, TV personality, and Twitter queen has developed a reputation for sharing the personal details of her life. Maybe she couldn’t hold it in anymore, or maybe she just got sick of faking it, based on this quote from the interview:
“You can’t set these expectations for people that everything is perfect. Everyone filters their sh*t, edits or Facetunes so you forget what normal faces or bodies look like. It’s not fair and it makes you jealous of other people’s bodies. It’s lying to people by omission. But also, while you want to teach your kids to be comfortable in their own skin, you want to tell them everything you can and let them decide.”
It does seem like having kids would be the time to make a change in both how a woman sees her body and how she talks about it.
“I do look at [my body] in the shower and think, ‘Arghhh, these kids,'” said Teigen. “But I don’t take the aesthetics so seriously now. It’s very fulfilling not having that pressure of putting on a swimsuit and looking good for a magazine while running around a beach, which I did when I was modeling. I don’t feel like my body is where I’m going to be sh*tty to myself, either. I’m already thinking enough things I am mad at myself about, I can’t add my body into it.”
Great advice! No one should be mad at themselves because of their body. But we’re all very excited about Teigen’s body, as she well knows.
To finish her interview, Teigen told Smith, “People are going to be excited about my boobs, I can tell already! There’s been a lot of speculation for years!”
