Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Are Getting Divorced And Fans Are Shook

This past weekend, celebrity couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced their split via a statement given to E! News. The two were married in December 2018, after a ten year relationship with lots of ups and downs.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” Cyrus’s rep said. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

It’s good that their pets are okay, because their fans most definitely are not. Anyone who has followed either half of the couple has been aware that their relationship was tumultuous. But when it was good, it was so good! People are mourning the relationship on Twitter:

The plot thickens somewhat: though no one knows for sure why they ended up breaking up nor how long they’ve been apart, paparazzi photos of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter, ex of Brody Jenner, on a boat have surfaced. The pictures set off a bit of a back and forth on Instagram, with Jenner commenting on a photo he posted, “Watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.”

To which Cyrus replied “Go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer.”

Are these celebrities really fighting over a girl? Or does everyone know what’s up and think it’s totally cool?

It doesn’t seem like Hemsworth is totally cool. He made a strange statement to Daily Mail Australia reporters harassing him about the split, saying, “You don’t understand what it’s like.” Well, that’s definitely true.

Cyrus has posted to her Instagram, with a message about evolution:

She wrote in the caption:

“Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa , change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me “ Nature never hurries but it is always on time”…. it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ….”

Damn. Heartbreak is the worst. And they’ll probably just do it all over again.
