Sophie Turner Says She Totally Gets Blake Lively’s Post-Baby Body Blues

Sophie Turner is echoing Blake Lively’s sentiments about feeling the post-partum body blues.

The other day, Lively explained how she struggled to find designer clothing that fit for her public appearances after giving birth, saying that she didn’t fit into the sample sizes. She said she ended up having to put together her own outfits, which, honestly, looked great.

“I put together a @lanvinofficial shirt and dress from @netaporter to make this pretty outfit,” Lively wrote on her Instagram Stories with a throwback pic of herself with Jimmy Fallon.

A year later looking back. That body gave me a baby. And was producing that baby’s entire food supply,” she said. “What a beautiful miracle. But instead of feeling proud, I felt insecure. Simply because I didn’t fit into clothes. How silly is that in retrospect.”

“Yes @blakelively one more time for the people in the back,” Turner wrote on her Instagram Story.

While it might seem silly to complain that designer clothing doesn’t fit you after giving birth, looking stylish for appearances is part of a celebrity’s job. And most women can relate to feeling not like themselves right after giving birth.

Sophie Turner gets it though. Turner, who is married to Joe Jonas, gave birth to the couple’s first daughter, Willa, in July 2020. The Game of Thrones star shared Lively’s post with a sticker that read, “Not a Queen, a Khaleesi.”

Lively responded to Turner’s supportive message, sharing a prayer hands emoji and writing: “Queen of the North everyone.”
