I remember a time when having a hashtag on weddings for pics was a new idea, but the Internet moves fast. We are now so saturated with wedding hashtags, it’s become necessary to turn to AI for help. There are wedding hashtag generators that will take a few bits of info, like your name, and turn it into wedding magic.
Or that’s what’s supposed to happen. A man named Tyler Dick discovered that the generator he was using doesn’t have much of a language filter on it. His fiancée Alison Harned asked him to give it a try and the results were pretty NSFW.
In a Facebook post in which he screenshot the generated ideas, Tyler wrote, “Ali asked me to help pick a name for our wedding website. I put our info into a name generator. We can’t stop laughing. Let us know which ones you like!”
Basically, all the suggestions incorporate the word Dick in pretty suggestive ways—and there are so, so many. It’s the kind of thing that’s funny, then not, then comes around to funny again. Here are my personal favorites.
For something romantic, there’s #AisleBeLovingDick
For something more inclusive there’s #CallingAllDicks
They could be generous with #EveryoneGetDicked
Or use a pop culture reference that’s slightly dated with #GameOfDicks
Or have more of a Wine Mom vibe with #LiveLoveDick
Get primal with #HowlinForDick
Or extremely whimsical with #OnCloudDick
Make sure the party gets nuts with #TheWildDicks
Promise fidelity with #DickAllTheWay
Signal the depth of their commitment with #DickRollingDeep
Or bring some more humor into it with #DickLOL
So many incredible options, but they have to be sure to set the right tone.
The posts was initially private, but so many of Tyler’s friends love it, they made the whole thing public. It’s been shared over 22 thousand times and has over 14 thousand comments as people tag friends and share their personal favorites, too. Obviously, these two MUST use at least one of these hashtags, but it will be so, so hard to choose. Wedding planning ain’t easy.
