If you have a healthy lifestyle and don’t spend every waking moment online you may not be familiar with every meme format under the sun. It’s time to change that.
“Are Ya Winning Son” memes feature a crudely drawn image of a father asking his son if he’s winning at a racy virtual reality game. The meme dates back to at least 2014 but, as they say “old is gold” and it there was something both funny and universal in its depiction of how well-meaning but often clueless parents interact with their offspring that struck a chord.
As with any versatile meme format these memes run the gamut from wholesome, to dark or meta, to deep-friend.
