Look, working in a restaurant is hard. Really hard. For a server, keeping up with so many customers and orders while splitting checks is almost impossible. As a chef, working to complete all the orders correctly with different modifications while supervising everyone in the kitchen is no walk in the park either.
A chef went on Reddit’s AITA to ask if they were in the wrong for not putting an ingredient one of the customers was allergic to in any of their dishes. In the chef’s mind, they were just being careful because cross-contamination of food can have deadly consequences. The customer, of course, did not.
