You can’t choose your family, but you can choose when to cut family out of your life. People are assholes and being related by blood doesn’t mean you should have to suffer from keeping them around.
A woman went on AITA to ask if she was wrong to not invite family members to a wedding after they mocked her disabled daughter. If the woman doesn’t want to do it herself, I’m sure there are a lot of people who would happily tell them where they can all shove it.
