If you’re like me, you absolutely cannot mind your own business. I can’t help but read people’s body language and assign relationships to the people they’re with, listen to conversations in restaurants, and insta-stalk your Aunt’s wedding photographer to see if they posted any photos she didn’t. I’m a one-woman detective agency who critically needs a therapist.
On May 18th, fellow stranger-stalker and TikTok user Drew was walking through an NYC park when he overheard friends saying they intentionally scheduled a party a weekend their friend Marissa would be out of town. Lucky Drew had uncovered the not-minding-your-business lottery and posted a video on TikTok searching for the woman named Marissa to tell her the hard truth about her backstabbing friends.
Find the original videos are at the end!
The comment section went wild and the search was on:
Several other Marissas stitched the video, but none of them quite fit the correct profile.
The real Marissa was finally found. She lived in New York and was planning on going out of town the same day her friends planned a party. Bingo.
TikTok erupted again, ecstatic that the true Marissa had been found and excited to see what happened next.
Marissa and Drew met up in the same park and became friends, as it seemed she desperately needed some new ones.
Marissa updated the platform on what happened with her “friends:”
In the end, Marissa from TikTok was overwhelmed by the kind responses.
