Six Flags Is Giving Couples A Chance To Win A Season Pass If They Can Last 30 Hours In A Coffin

Did you ever want to celebrate the Halloween season by spending 30 hours in a coffin? Look no further.  Six Flags is celebrating Fright Fest 2019 with a 30-Hour Coffin Challenge

This year, couples (non-romantic and romantic) will be chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin. Yes, chosen. This is a thing you apply for and get picked to do.

The challenge is taking place at Six Flags all over the country, so you should check which location is nearest to you if you want to participate.

You will spend the night in the park during non-operating hours with Fright Fest ghouls “lurking about in the darkness.” The scariest part? You cannot bring any tech. No smartphones, no watches, no earbuds.

There are designated break times when you can use your devices, use the bathroom, and eat—but honestly, the whole thing sounds incredibly uncomfortable. Or maybe I’m looking at this wrong. It could be a great time to catch up on some much-needed sleep.

There are some restrictions. You must be 18 or older to participate. You cannot have any medical conditions that would make “lying in a coffin for 30 hours a risk to your health or well-being.” You must sign a waiver, provide your own pillow and blanket, and “be willing and able to lie comfortably in a claustrophobic-sized 2′ x 7′ coffin.”

If you can win, you get to split $600, two 2020 Gold Season Passes, and a Fright Fest Prize package (some locations differ slightly).

Other Coffin Challenges at nation-wide Six Flags have already occurred. At Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, six people partook in the challenge.

Would you spend 30 hours in a coffin with another person?
