Well, the day has come. Donald Trump, despite who he might blame during a debate, was president during the entire coronavirus pandemic. He and his wife tested positive for COVID last night. Trump’s closest aide, Hope Hicks, also tested positive. While we should not celebrate anyone contracting an illness, we should also not let someone off the hook who persistently mocked people who wore masks or mocked people for listening to the advice of doctors.
