The last time I did psychedelics, I thought I could read minds and cried because I thought my houseplant was mad at me. If this was the 1600s, I might have been burned at the stake. If it was the 300s, I could have made my way into history books.
A lot of history is a little fuzzy. It’s hard to know exactly what happened without totally accurate ways to keep records and it becomes really messy when we factor in people might have been on some pretty fun drugs or just weren’t wearing glasses when they wrote it. People on Twitter are guessing which myths originated from someone just being confused.
