Shia LaBeouf Steals The Show Smoking Loud During The “Fast Times” Zoom Table Read

Celebrities have gotten a lot better at giving us what we want and need in COVID-19 times. It’s not the cursed Imagine sing-a-long. The Backstreet Boys got closer with their classic anthem, but that was still a lot of singing. Celebrities who don’t have the pipes and do have shame have realized they can just ACT for us all. We’re home, we’re bored, there’s almost no new TV on the horizon, so fire up those Zoom cameras and give us a glimpse of Brad Pitt’s home office.

A group of very big name celebs gathered this week to do a reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a classic that I have never watched all the way through because it’s boring. That’s my opinion, don’t at me. This version was also a little bit boring, because most of the actors in it were pretty casual about the whole thing. They seemed very conscious of the cameras and not in a good way.

Shia LaBeouf, however, was super aware of the camera in the most extreme way possible.

Everyone else was giving it about 65 percent and he was at 110.

He also seemed like he got into character by smoking some of the devil’s plant:

That character was Jeff Spicoli, originally portrayed by Sean Penn. Sean Penn was also there, so we got to see his reactions to Shia’s wild overreactions. Like looking in a mirror:

Shia managed to steal scenes he wasn’t even in, despite the combined star power of Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston:

There was one other dynamic catching people’s eyes, and that was seeing formerly married people Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt on-screen together:

Though they’ve both been through second marriages and second divorces, they still have very dedicated shippers who don’t know when to stand down. It’s been a long time. These two are at peace with each other.

You can watch the whole thing yourself to confirm:

Maybe I’ll make it all the way through this time.
