A Guy Sent His Dog To The Store To Buy Cheetos And It Actually Worked

There are a few things people are obsessing over during quarantine. Snacks are probably at the top of the list for most people. Eating is how we are passing the time in between more eating. Some folks have managed to carve out schedules that don’t solely revolve around eating, but I don’t want to think about them. They’re better than me and I accept that.

The main problem with all the eating is that we aren’t really supposed to be going out on regular snack runs–and yet all the good snacks somehow get immediately eaten! Very strange! Some people are ordering stuff to their front doors, but a man named Antonio Munoz got very creative when he suddenly had an overwhelming urge for Cheetos. He decided to send his trusty dog to the store for him and documented the excursion in a series of photographs posted to Facebook.

He attached a note to his dog’s back that read:

“Hello Mr. Shopkeeper. Please sell my dog some Cheetos, the orange kind, not the red ones, they’re too hot. She has $20 attached to her collar. WARNING: She will bite if not treated right. Your front neighbor.”

He then sent the little chihuahua mix across the street to see what would happen. And incredibly, it actually worked:

Munoz managed to capture some shots of her coming back with the Cheetos grasped in her mouth. She even brought back the change!

If I were that shopkeeper, I would have sent the Cheetos over for free, because this has to be the most fun thing that has happened to them in weeks. It’s definitely what everyone else wanted to see based on the responses to the pictures all over Twitter:

Dogs are the true heroes in this epidemic. After the doctors.
