Dog Sprains His Tail From “Excessive Wagging” Because Family Is Always Home Now

Listen, y’all. Things have been grim lately. America is quickly going on lockdown and many people are practicing social distancing and self-quarantining to help stop the spread of COVID-19. One positive side effect from this all is pets are having the time of their lives with their humans around all the time.

One particular dog was so happy he gave himself an injury.

Meet Rolo, a Dachshund who cannot believe his luck. Rolo’s human Emma posted on Twitter that Rolo was so happy his parents were home self-quarantining that he sprained his tail from wagging it too hard.

Because this is the most perfect, precious story on Earth, the tweet received more than a million likes and 140.2k retweets. Emma made sure to update the internet on Rolo’s status through the Twitter thread.

Oh to be Rolo right now.

If you couldn’t already tell by the like count, people loved it.

Someone even pointed out that cats would never.

Because Rolo stole the hearts of so many, Emma created an Instagram account so we can all follow along.

We really need a wholesome dog story right now. Thank you, Rolo.
