Every time it feels like we will never have to hear about YouTuber Jake Paul again, he comes popping back up into the pop culture conversation like whack-a-mole. Somehow, he continues to have fans and reach, maybe because everyone has forgotten to unsubscribe from his channel? Or maybe it’s because he has a talent for attracting attention in negative ways, which can often produce even more results than attracting attention in positive ways.
Case in point: Paul was reportedly in Vegas recently to watch the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder boxing match, according to Metro.uk, where his path somehow crossed with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.
The two had some sort of exchange, and Paul did not like how it went down. He tweeted, “almost had to clap up zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to fuck off for no reason when I was being nice to him…. zane ik you’re reading this… stop being angry cause u came home alone to ur big ass hotel room hahaha.”

While I also feel bad for childhood stars, I’m pretty sure Jake Paul could drive anyone crazy in a single conversation. He managed to make Zayn Malik’s supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid hopping mad in just two tweets. Hadid deigned to respond to Paul, defending her man’s plans at his hotel, tweeting at him, “Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly ass. Go to bed …”
