So when Lizzo shared a TikTok that recalled her efforts to tipsily give Evans a little digital flirt, we related.
In the clip, Lizzo lip-synchs, “The reason I’m upset about this one is because I know I’m not going to be able to marry him and honestly it hurts me to the core — because damn papa, he a rare breed, no comparing.”

The DM came at 5:22 PM, which means Lizzo was solidly drunk pretty early — not that time counts anymore, thank you quarantine.
Neither Evans nor Lizzo followed each other on Instagram at the time, though that has now been rectified (phew).
Lizzo was a little mortified by the entire thing, but she seems to find the funny in it too.
