The art people make as children may not be of professional quality but you can bet their parents will hang onto it forever as a testament to that first creative spark their child had… even if they drew horses that look like cars and cars that look like horses.
When kids draw portraits of people the results are often particularly hilarious and a mom on Reddit recently went viral by posing next to a drawing her daughter made of her and doing her makeup to match.
In her post 10fletcher explained that her daughter drew the portrait 10 years ago, adding “I still look the same IMO.” She then had fun joking around with posters who replied to her glorious “selfie-portrait”
People appreciated this rad mom’s sense of humor and complimented her parenting skills.
People were stunned by the resemblance.
Frankly, the drawing is pretty good. Even if children can be brutally…accurate in their assessment of adults.
The banter continued with some posters suggesting ways in which 10fletcher could keep the gag going.
If anything this depiction is too accurate. If this kid wants to make it in the art world she’s going to have to learn more about abstract expressionism, pronto.
