Woman Asks If She Was Wrong To Lash Out At Surrogate For Trying To “Replace Her”

Using a surrogate is honestly pretty cool. Holding a baby in another parent’s body to help someone out for any reason is not only brilliant but an intimate and emotional experience. There are companies that specialize in surrogacy to help parents and carriers through the process and make sure boundaries are set to protect all parties. 

A woman on Reddit’s AITA asked if she was in the wrong for lashing out at her surrogate for trying to “replace her” and have a relationship with her husband. It sounds crazy, but without a legally binding contract about whose baby it is, the carrier could claim parental rights over the child. The mother was starting to freak out for good reason.
