Many avid readers dive into books to escape real life. Fiction can be a relaxing way to take your mind off any stress of the day and put your mind into someone else’s world. However, a lot of the things characters do in books would not be okay in real life.

It’s steamy and enchanting to read about a man knocking on a woman’s window in the middle of the night to talk, but it would be horrifying in real life. It would take a dire emergency to let someone see me in my Tweety Bird nightgown and a ‘chat’ is just not it.
