Thank you for recognizing those working. I work in a large Grocery store and people treat you like a peasant and are mostly rude. But it does make your day and worth it when a customer thanks you and is appreciative ! pic.twitter.com/xOMwe6OS5H

I’m a produce manager at a grocery store in Pennsylvania.
My department picked up an extra $15,000 in sales in just three days of the week.
I doubled my usual order and still ran out of bananas and potatoes.
These folks have gone mad.

Yup, I was a cashier in my teenage years and that’s when I lost all hope for humanity

Update: One costumer did ask, the only reason they’re still alive is because one of the cop regulars we get was behind them in line.

My 22 year old daughter is also working the ‘front lines’ and called me crying this morning from abusive treatment. I’m feeling pretty helpless 2000 miles away. 2020 Time persons of the year – Grocery store employees

I work at in retail, at the front lanes. What I’ve seen the last week is the ugliest of the uglies.

It could be worse. You could be managing our local Sam’s where someone got stabbed with a broken wine bottle on Thursday.

My son is a manager at Aldi and right now he feels the same. His normal nice customers have turned so nasty toward all the employees. People piss me off. He’s working 14+ hour days, verbally abused constantly and has no protective gear. As his Mom, it makes me furious.

My boyfriend also manages a grocery store and the stories I hear the hours he’s working are just insane. He’s been taking toilet paper and cases of water out of people carts

I work for an ALDI grocery store. Had a guy today shove a woman out of his way so he could grab as much fresh chicken as he could and then told her, "sorry sister, this is the world we live in now." I'm thoroughly disgusted.
