Ah, to be so hot that people think you’re fake. What a dream—or is it? One 26-year-old Instagram-famous model, Holly Valentine, claims that Tinder deleted her account (which she said was premium, and for which she paid 86 dollars!) because they couldn’t envision a world in which her hotness could possibly exist.

She was traveling a whole bunch and meeting guys in different cities, which is why she wanted the premium account in the first place. Unfortunately, though, her hotness got the better of her.

One day, she discovered she’d be locked out of the account. She could see previews of messages, which she told The Sun said things like, “you’re probably not real,’ and ‘why would a girl like you be on tinder.’ She thought her account got reported for catfishing—which is a term for creepy, deceptive social media activity. She contacted Apple and Tinder and got no response.

And although it’s easy to joke here, it’s not cool to simply ban a human from a paid app because you didn’t do the due diligence to ensure she’s actually REAL. Still, people on Twitter had some thoughts—and you guessed it, most were not very nice.

There was a fair share of straight-up sexism. For one, just because a girl wears lingerie doesn’t mean she can’t have a relationship, silly.
Judging by the photos she wasn’t looking for a meaningful relationship anyway 😂

Jokes started coming in hot:
Same thing happened to me. Girls flagged me down thinking I’m too hot to be on tinder.

One person said she didn’t even need Tinder. Not sure if this tweet is nice or rude, though…
She should be banned. She’s taking up space on Tinder. Girl you a dime, go outside. Tinder is for my mediocre but freaky girls.

But mostly, people were surprised that this was news at all.
Same thing happened to me. Girls flagged me down thinking I’m too hot to be on tinder.

This is a joke right?

One Twitter user pointed out that the issue is probably with her wardrobe — because society is still too prude for a push-up bra:
I hate to sound like a hater but she is very regular. It’s more the lingerie she’s wearing that makes her look like a scam ad.

This guy’s got a point, though:
Damn and the rest of us gettin banned for being too ugly😔
