People Are Having White Claw-Themed Weddings Because Of Course They Are

White Claw has become the hipster beverage of choice as of late. While PBR used to be the go-to alcoholic drink for better-than-thou millennials, these days the hard seltzer brand is at the top of everyone’s list, apparently to the point that people are centering their weddings around the beverage. There’s even a White Claw wedding Instagram hashtag (#WhiteClawWedding) that seems to be picking up steam and frankly, I’m not sure what to think about it. 

While there are currently only 177 posts in the hashtag, the fact that there are any at all proves that White Claw has become somewhat of a status symbol. It makes sense, I guess—it’s classier to drink alcoholic seltzer water than cans of Bud Light and the packaging looks pretty sleek too. However, I’m not sure if I’d want to make it the focal point of my big day.
