Lmao red robin is the worst. One time I had a woman complain that “her salad was cold”. I also had one customer tell me they were “allergic to ice” when I brought them iced water and then they dumped the water on the floor

I work at a golf course. I kindly asked a member not to move the patio chairs around as it was a covid rule. She proceeded to lick her hands and touch ALL the chairs on the patio as a “joke”. Her friends did not laugh. I did not laugh.

I worked in a candy store. Man tried to pay with a credit card. I asked for ID with the card. He showed me a police badge. I said “um I’m sorry I need photo ID with a name.” The cop was furious I would not break rules for him.

Thankfully I had a really cool manager &, when I came back crying & told him the situation, he went over to the customer & said if he tried to pull anything like that in his restaurant again (ie try to get extra food for free), he'd kick him out. So all's well that ends well 🥰

When I was 17 I had a guy scream in my face that the potatoes he had weren't sauteed, and did I even know what sauteed potatoes were?
Turns out he had got sautee and dauphinoise confused.
Still my fault apparently. So he screamed at me for 5-10mins straight until I cried 🤷🏼♀️
