Say what you will about dating apps, but the truth of the matter is, they work. Mostly.
While every single person who has ever used one probably has a horror story or several under their belts, February’s Singles in America survey, conducted by Match Group and representatives from the Kinsey Institute, revealed that 40 percent of the US census-based sample of single people had met someone online in the last year and proceeded to have a relationship with them.
Which leaves about 60% of us who do use dating apps, and some (probably) larger percentage of us who do not, relationship-less and still tryna date. It’s hard out there. Here are 50 of the funniest tweets detailing exactly how hard:
