There isn’t a lot to do in quarantine, even if you’re a celebrity living in a literal mansion. In a way, celebrities are more vulnerable to boredom than anybody because their regular lives involve so many parties. They’re also starved for attention. This has led to some bad content, I’m not gonna lie.
Gal Gadot’s “Imagine” mix was not well received. Neither are any pleas for money from folks who have multi-millions. But some have been the sweet, wholesome entertainment we crave, like the Backstreet Boys singing “I Want It That Way” from their individual abodes.
Now, Tom Holland is stepping things up. What the people really want—what they need—is thirst traps. There might be some couples out there having sex in between grocery runs, but the rest of us are single and desperately wishing we could mingle. Tom Holland might play a teen in the movies, but he is actually a 23-year-old man, so it’s okay to enjoy him shirtless. Trust me, I Googled it before writing that sentence.
Holland gifted us all with a new challenge to his celebrity friends in which he puts on a shirt while doing a handstand. He is Spider-Man:

The handstand challenge got passed to actors Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, two other people I think the nation would like to see shirtless and working hard. Reynolds wasn’t too thrilled by the message from Holland. He straight up refused, cutting the whole idea off at the knees:

But Gyllenhaal answered the call, though he initially seemed confused about what the challenge actually was, writing on Instagram, “What’s the challenge??? Shirtless heavy breathing??”
Did Jake come up with a plan already? Hahaa pic.twitter.com/jYJYQ06mQH

Once he figured it out he nailed it:

We all stan Gyllenhaal’s ponytail, though many are bummed that his video doesn’t offer up the heavy breathing we anticipated:
call me old fashioned, but i was raised to take care of my husband. cook his meals, wash his clothes, and make sure he has a clean house to come home to. i live to serve his every demand. pic.twitter.com/Ov5yTPoY4r

And he passed the torch to Hugh Jackman, 50 Cent, and sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal. I would like to see it.
